[OPINION] With the January transfer deadline fast approaching, Arsenal remain active and determined to achieve success in the Premier League and Champions League. However, further reinforcements in the market will be needed to realize these ambitions.
According to The Independent, the club is looking to sign as many as four players, but the reality is likely to be different. Arsenal already do business under the control of financial constraints, which came to the fore in the summer with the loan of David Ray.

Center forward – Ivan Toney
Ivan Toney is of course the most talked about striker when it comes to potential winter moves to the club. The England international, who has been out of action during a period of suspension for breaking betting rules, is returning at the right time for Brentford this winter with Bryan Mbuemo injured.

Football.london reported this summer that the Gunners are really interested in this player. A move for the Dutchman would certainly cost a fortune now that the player has extended his contract with the Bundesliga side until 2028.
Fullback – Jorrel Hato
Perhaps the most financially viable player being linked with a move is another Dutch star, Jorrel Hato, who is following in Jurrien Timber’s footsteps at Ajax. The 17-year-old has already captained the Amsterdam club and currently has one of the best statistics in the world for a defender.
Ajax would not want to lose him so soon and the message from the club is that they want Hato to continue developing with them. However, that has not stopped Arsenal from keeping an eye on the teenager, and he could potentially make a move in the near future.
