A new striker was spotted in Arsenal training yesterday, as rumours suggest Arteta has already found his ideal striker
Arsenal star Mika Biereth has been sensational this season on loan at Motherwell, impressing in the Scottish Premier League.
The 20-year-old scored six goals and five assists in 11 appearances in the Scottish Championship and quickly became one of the club’s most important players.
Biereth joined Arsenal in 2021 from Fulham’s youth academy and moved to Motherwell on loan in August to gain more first-team experience.
The Danish U21 star is one of the most exciting attacking talents in the academy, and now he has been surprisingly seen back in Arsenal training.
Mika Biereth trains with the Arsenal first team
The striker has now been spotted back in training, an unusual move as he is still on loan at Motherwell until the end of the season.
This may lead to the idea that he could be recalled to the club as Arsenal have struggled in attack this season, but it is more likely that he has taken the opportunity to train at a higher level while Motherwell enjoy their seasonal break.
Motherwell last played on January 2, with Biereth contributing two assists in the 2-2 draw with Hibernian, but he will not play until January 20, meaning the young striker has had time to return to north London on a temporary basis.
