Agent announces and confirms £35 million summer DONE DEAL will be an Arsenal player this January
Arsenal defender Jakub Kiwior will stay at the club this month, his agent has said.
Kiwior signed for Arsenal last January for £17.5 million from Spezia and has made several impressive appearances in an Arsenal shirt.
But the center-back could already be on his way out the door as AC Milan want him. The 23-year-old has “left a piece of his heart” in Italy and would be ready for a return to Italy, according to a recent report from Gazzetta dello Sport.
However, it seems that he will not be going anywhere, as his agent has revealed that the defender will stay at Arsenal this transfer window. “Kuba is an Arsenal player,” the Kiwi’s agent Pawel Zimonczyk revealed to Polish channel Kanal Sportowy, as quoted by the Daily Mirror.
“There are no signals that they want to get rid of him and I don’t think anything will happen in the winter transfer window.”
Arsenal took a gamble with Kiwior and brought him to the Premier League, but he has had plenty of time to settle in at the club and make an impact, but it hasn’t really worked out.
If he wants to return to Italian football, then Arsenal’s management should let him leave and bring in players who actually want to be part of the team, stars who will give 100% and not miss the country they signed for.
But since Arteta knows that his team is not the biggest in the Premier League, it would actually be a shock if Kiwior left the club in the January window, and it is much more likely that he will stay at least until the summer.
It will certainly be interesting to see how things develop.
