Arsenal and Mikel Arteta told to ‘FINALLY’ get January deal done for striker!

Alan Shearer has urged Arsenal to buy a striker in the January transfer window.

The transfer window has been open for a few weeks and many expected the Gunners to be very busy trying to strengthen key areas of the pitch.

However – despite all the speculation and rumors – the ARSENAL board have not done much work and fans have been disappointed that the club have not yet managed to add a striker.

Earlier this month, the Gunners were linked with Ivan Toney, but a move seems unlikely at the moment as the player has indicated that he would like to stay at Brentford and repay them for their loyalty.

However – with Man City and Liverpool in the Premier League – Pundit Shearer has opened up and encouraged the Gunners board to look at their transfer deadline and add the striker to their side.

Shearer told the BBC: “Arsenal are still creating chances and I don’t think that has ever been a problem for them, but if last season more players were scoring goals, this time the number of strikers is not as good, especially in the league.

“I don’t feel that as a team they’ve lost a bit of that offensive spark to improve their defensive solidity – it’s more a case of missing the chances they create for themselves.
