Arsenal expected to announce deal for ‘Brilliant’ 19-years-old England forward before January transfer deadline

Although Arsenal fans will wait for the announcement of a new signing before next week’s deadline, it looks like one player could leave now.

Due to the FFP parameters, Mikel Arteta’s squad was always prepared for a quiet January window.

But fans may have hoped that the club would have sanctioned at least one move by now, perhaps the inclusion of a versatile defender to provide short-term cover.

Instead, it seems that Arsenal will end January without reinforcing their squad – a decision likely to be delayed until the summer.

The heavy spending on Declan Rice and Kai Havertz meant that the club was always going to be limited in the middle of the season, and now we are at the end of that lull.

Having said all that, the club still seem keen to move players permanently and on loan before the end of January.

Perhaps Cedric Soares and Nuno Tavares could leave Arsenal permanently before the deadline next week.

And now it looks like young Charles Sagoe Jr. could be ready to make his first loan move from the club.

Charles Sagoe Jr. could leave Arsenal on loan before next week’s deadline
According to Jeorge Bird, who shared the news yesterday, 19-year-old Sagoe Jr. has been named in Arsenal’s U21 squad to face Wolverhampton Wanderers this weekend.

The “excellent” winger is now expected to leave on a short-term loan in the coming days, possibly until the end of the season.

According to reports, Sagoe Jr. is the only academy player to have played for Arsenal’s first team this season.

Although Ethan Nwaneri and Lino Sousa have regularly been on Arteta’s bench, neither has been given a chance.

It will be interesting to see at what level Arsenal will loan Sagoe Jr, a player who has improved a lot this season.

The winger has often worn the captain’s armband in Mehmet Ali’s team this season, but now he seems ready for a bigger challenge.

Sagoe Jr. has never left the club as a loan player in his career so far, meaning this will mark a new chapter.

With all this said, it seems that Arsenal are turning to another top English talent ahead of next week’s deadline.
