‘I’m afraid’….: Thierry Henry names the two teams Arsenal need to avoid in Champions League draw tomorrow
Arsenal legend Thierry Henry has discussed who he thinks his former team should avoid in tomorrow’s Champions League draw.
Mikel Arteta’s team won dramatically at the Emirates on Tuesday and proved how far they have come.
FC Porto proved to be an incredibly difficult stylistic match, a team that prevented Arsenal from playing their usual game, but ultimately found a way to win.
Arsenal looked confident during the penalty shootout, and David Raya chose the right moment to be the hero.
As mentioned, Arteta’s men are in the quarter-finals for the first time in 14 years.
Arsenal’s possible opponents are Atletico de Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, Manchester City, Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid.
At this stage of the draw, the draw is of course completely open, as there is no protection for the country, meaning Arteta could face Pep Guardiola in Europe.

Speaking to CBS Sports, Henry said that there are still two obviously tough teams.

Henry said he believes Manchester City is still the team to beat, but he was also worried about a familiar Spanish team.
He explained: “Henry is very worried: “Look, there are two teams that can be confident, in brackets, it’s Real Madrid and Man City, that’s about it.
“Other teams you just take what you get. I think City, for me, is still the team to beat.”
Of course, as Henry mentioned, we are now in “take who you get” territory.
If Arsenal want to win the Champions League, they will have to beat one of these teams in the end.
But I think all Arsenal fans will understand Henry’s point that City in particular would not be a fun draw tomorrow.
Arteta’s men will already be playing the team that beat them last season for the Premier League title at the end of the month, a match that is just as important this time around.
