Arsenal and Liverpool lost today to change the Premier League title picture, and Ian Wright has now had his say on who will cross the line.

Arsenal lost at home to Aston Villa and Liverpool suffered a similar fate against Crystal Palace.

Overall, it meant that Pep Guardiola and Manchester City are back in the position of power, and if they win all their games now, the race will be over.

Liverpool and Arsenal will simply have to move on.

Jurgen Klopp and Mikel Arteta will not allow their players to throw in the towel, and as we have seen this weekend, anything can happen in football.

Until recently, Ian Wright was a firm believer that his beloved Arsenal would get the job done.

But after the events of the weekend, Wright now believes that City could now lose the title.

“Man City would not have thought that Liverpool and Arsenal would lose today. City know how to navigate it. They can afford to lose a game now, but I don’t see them losing it.

“They have breathing space. All Arsenal can do now is win every game, but we had to do that before today because we know City can win every game they play,” Wright said.

Manchester City will win the Premier League

While Arsenal and Liverpool will continue, this looks to be a huge, huge turnaround in the season.

Man City have been here and done it many times before, so it will be a mentally devastating blow to both pursuers today.

Pep Guardiola simply knows how to get across the finish line. They crushed Luton with ease at the weekend and looking at their resolution, it’s hard to see where they will lose the match.

Arsenal and Liverpool have struggled all season, but it looks like they will go winless again.
