Leeds United to finalize midfielder signing by weekend – Transfer moving fast
Leeds United are aiming to gain some momentum in their transfer dealings this week as they seek to add to the four new players they have already brought in this summer with a couple of midfield additions.
The Whites have strengthened their defence with more depth and signed a striker in Lukas Nmecha, on a free transfer this summer. However, the club are aware more is needed and ahead of their first pre-season game this weekend, Leeds have pressed the transfer accelerator.
Leeds want more Premier League experience and physical qualities in the middle of the park in the top flight next season, and the club have moved accordingly to bring in more midfield depth in the ongoing transfer window.
The Whites have an agreement in place with Newcastle United to sign Sean Longstaff this summer, and have also agreed on personal terms on a contract with Hoffenheim midfielder Anton Stach.
