🚨 NEW: Kieran McKenna Confirms Key Ipswich Absentees Ahead of Blackburn Clash
Ipswich Town manager Kieran McKenna has confirmed that several players will miss this weekend’s Championship fixture against Blackburn Rovers.
Speaking to the press in his pre-match briefing, McKenna admitted that injuries have disrupted his preparations but insisted the squad is ready to adapt.

“We’ve got a few lads unavailable for the Blackburn game, which is never what you want, but we’ll manage it. The squad is strong and everyone is prepared to step up when called upon,” McKenna said.
The news will come as a blow to Ipswich, who are pushing to maintain momentum in their promotion bid. Blackburn, meanwhile, arrive at Portman Road looking to capitalise on any weaknesses and climb the table themselves.

Despite the setbacks, McKenna stressed that his team has the mentality to cope:
“These are the challenges of a long Championship season. We trust the depth of the group and the younger players coming through. It’s a chance for them to show what they can do in a big game.”
With both clubs fighting for vital points, Saturday’s clash promises to be fiercely contested — but Ipswich will have to do it without some of their key men.
More updates on the official list of absentees are expected closer to kick-off.
