Nottingham Forest: Ange-Ball Turns Into Clown-Ball After Swansea Cup Exit

🤡 Nottingham Forest: Ange-Ball Turns Into Clown-Ball After Swansea Cup Exit

Nottingham Forest’s “big Ange era” lasted about as long as a cup of tea. Last night, Forest managed to embarrass themselves in front of the nation, losing to Swansea in the EFL Cup — and honestly, the Swans barely had to break a sweat.

Postecoglou came in with all this hype about “attacking football” and “changing the culture”. Well, the only culture he’s changed so far is turning Forest into a comedy club. Forget Ange-Ball — this is Bantr-Ball.

Swansea fans couldn’t believe their luck. Every time they went forward, Forest’s defence parted like the Red Sea, and the keeper looked like he was diving for imaginary Pokémon instead of saving shots. By the final whistle, the Swansea end turned into a festival while the Forest end turned into a library of shame.

Forest fans were promised excitement. And yes, they’re getting it — if you count the excitement of checking the scoreboard to see how many goals they’ve conceded this time.

Social media didn’t hold back either:

One rival fan wrote, “Forest should’ve stayed in the Championship, at least there they were losing with dignity.” Another joked, “Ange said he wants to play fearless football. Mission accomplished. His defence fears absolutely nothing — not even marking opponents.”

At this rate, Postecoglou might not even last until Christmas. Forest’s “new project” is already looking like a clearance sale.

Next stop? Another humiliation in the league. Buckle up, Forest fans — it’s going to be a long, banter-filled season.
