A TEENAGE girl was reportedly grabbed and sexually assaulted by a man at a bus stop.
It was reported that at around 8.20pm on Monday, September 29, a 17-year-old girl was at the Fisherman’s Walk bus stop in Southbourne Grove, when a man approached her.
The man reportedly attempted to engage in conversation before grabbing her arm and tried to touch her inappropriately over the girl’s clothing.
After telling him to leave her alone, the girl got onto the bus and left the man at the bus stop.
The man is described as white, aged in his 30s, around five feet six inches tall and of slim build with short white hair and two grey hoop piercings in his right ear. He was wearing a red hooded top, dark blue top and dark blue jeans.
Police constable Lucy Hobbs, of Bournemouth police, said: “This must have been a very distressing incident for the girl involved and we are carrying out a full investigation into this matter.
“I would urge any witnesses or anyone with relevant dashcam or CCTV footage to please make contact with us.”
