Who Arsenal can face in Champions League quarter-final after penalty shoot-out win over Porto
Arsenal secured their place in the Champions League quarter-finals on Tuesday night after beating FC Porto on penalties at the Emirates Stadium.
The Canaries equalised a 1-0 loss in the first meeting with a single goal. Leandro Trossard scored the only goal of the game before Mikel Arteta’s side won on penalties thanks to two goals from David Ray.
After the win against the Portuguese giants, Arsenal will continue to hope for their first Champions League win in Friday’s draw. The quarter-finals, semi-finals and final will be drawn after the last 16 matches.
The draw takes place at 11.00am in Switzerland and is open. There are no ranking or country restrictions, so the Gunners could face Manchester City in the next round.
The first leg of the quarter-final will be played on 9-10 April, away to Brighton & Hove Albion and at home to Aston Villa. The second leg will be played the following week before the away game with Wolves.
With this in mind, football.london takes a look at the potential opponents Arsenal could face in the quarter-finals.
