Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has reportedly spoken with Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford in recent weeks about a move to the Emirates.
Rashford has been in the headlines for all the wrong reasons this season and looks nothing like the player that netted 30 goals for MAN UNITED just a few seasons ago.
He has really struggled this season under boss Erik Ten Hag and has only managed to score 8 goals in all competitions for the Red Devils, which is not good enough for a player of his ability.
However – there has been alot of speculation and rumours in the media that a move away from Man United could really happen this summer and it is no secret that Mikel Arteta is a fan of the Manchester lad and would be open to adding his pace and goal-threat to the squad should the opportunity.
Now the Caughtoffside website has claimed that Arteta has held talks with Rashford in recent weeks about a move to the Emirates.
Rashford is a player that MAN UNITED are reportedly ready to let go at the end of the season, along with a number of other stars. We dont know what is going on with him but he should be scoring more than he currently is.
We can see him in that ARSENAL side, but not starting on a weekly basis as Mikel Arteta has players that have been alot better than the England forward.
Add tat to the fact he has a massive wage at Man United that Arsenal would need to meet – this is surely a transfer that will not happen and he will not be wearing an Arsenal shirt next season.
