Celtic and Rangers could be set to miss out on Lennon Miller, with Sunderland preparing an ambitious £10m bid for the Motherwell star.
Miller made his first Scotland start in the 4-0 win over Liechtenstein on Monday, and the Black Cats are preparing a bid to test Motherwell’s resolve for the 18-year-old, according to SportsBoom.

Though Motherwell are keen to hold on to their young star, Miller has made no secret of his desire to play at the highest level, and has been linked with a number of top European clubs, including Borussia Dortmund.
Miller is under contract until May 2026, which gives Motherwell some bargaining power for the PFA Scotland and Scottish Football Writers’ Association Young Player of the Year, having already knocked back a £2.5m bid from Udinese.

The midfielder, who has had three seasons at Motherwell, scored four goals and registered eight assists in the Premiership last term, as the Steelmen finished eighth.
Sunderland, who were promoted to the Premier League last season after an eight-year absence, are ‘quietly confident’ they can tempt Miller with the promise of English top-flight football.
