We are delighted to announce Miguel Ángel Brau has agreed to join the Sky Blues.
Coventry City get ‘green light’ for first summer signing on free transfer
The 23-year-old left-back’s contract at the Estadio Nuevo Los Cármenes is up at the end of the month, with reports in Spain claiming the player had rejected a new deal.
Sports journalist Matte Moretto first revealed Cartagena-born Ángel Brau was Coventry-bound in a tweet posted on X last week.
He scored two goals in 27 appearances for the La Liga 2 club last season as they finished in 7th.
He started out playing for Granada’s second team before a loan spell at Taverna in 2022/2023.
He was promoted to the Granada first team on his return to the club, but after just the season has opted to move on, with England his next port of call.
