Winning trophies is the aim for Nottingham Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis and manager Nuno Espirito Santo after the Portuguese boss signed a new contract with the club.

Nuno has signed fresh terms at the City Groundand is now committed to Forest until 2028, two years more than on his previous deal.

Marinakis has hailed Nuno as an “expert” in player development and said they share an ambition of “writing a new history” at the club together.

They hope that new history includes silverware. After returning the club to Europe for the first time in 30 years, the next aim is trophies.
