Arda Guler drops Real Madrid future hint amid Newcastle United loan interest

Newcastle United’s hopes of landing Real Madrid sensation Arda Guler on loan hang very much with Xabi Alonso.

The Turkish wonderkid’s future at the Bernabeu was in doubt under previous boss Carlo Ancelotti, with the 20-year-old not getting as much gametime as he would have liked under the Italian.

He has been linked with a loan move away from Spain this summer, with Newcastle, Juventus and Bayer Leverkusen all credited with interest in the forward.

United are keen to strengthen the right-hand side of their forward line, having moved away from interest in Brentford’s Bryan Mbeumo after hearing his wage demands.
